The schedules are used to maintain the daily and weekly complement of employees needed in your facility. The Master Schedule consists of lines created and assigned to the employees, which in turn are used to populate the Active Schedules.
The Active Schedule should be used for temporary, day to day changes only. Permanent changes should be made to the employee's Master Schedule line.
If Employee Self Service is activated, allowing employees to log in and view their schedules, managers have the ability to restrict how far out (by date) the schedules are visible using the Posted Date feature.
The Active Schedule has two different filters. The Employee filter found on the Employee Panel to filter the employees and the Schedule Filter to filter what shifts are shown, the funnel icon found on the Active Schedule toolbar. (see Active Schedule toolbar further in this section.)
To view a filtered group of employees (recommended) use the Employee Panel.
▪Click in the Employee window to access the Employee Panel.
The Employee Panel provides multiple ways to filer or group the employees displayed.
