Attendance Codes are codes added to the schedule which would typically represent time away from work. These events may be paid or unpaid. Attendance Codes may be configured to unbook the shift for another employee to fill e.g. a vacation day, or may to allow the shift and the Attendance Codes to appear on the same day e.g. a paid uniform allowance Attendance Code, since it does not represent time off for the employee.
Attendance Codes may be added, modified, or deleted on the Active Schedule.
Click on the desired date so the shift is highlighted in blue. From the Action menu, select Add Attendance.
The Select menu will appear allowing you to add the Attendance Code details. Mandatory fields are shown in red.
▪Enter the shift length into the Hours field (optional). If the selected date is a scheduled date, there is no need to add Hours. In this case the Attendance Code length will default to the length of the shift you are unbooking. ▪Click on the drop-down arrow in the Attendance field for a list of Attendance Codes. Select the desired code. ▪Add a comment (optional). ▪Click Apply.
A confirmation message (warning) will appear similar to the one shown below:
