Attendance Codes are used to identify attendance events. These can paid or unpaid i.e., training, as well as non-booking or booking i.e., jury duty.
Attendance can be added, modified, or deleted on the Active Schedule.
Click on the desired date so the shift is highlighted in blue. From the Action menu, select Add Attendance.
The Select menu will appear allowing you to add the Attendance Code details. Mandatory fields are shown in red. Only Attendance Codes that are configured with Show on Sched option enabled will appear on the Attendance field drop-down list.
▪Enter the shift length into the Hours field (optional). If date is already booked, there is no need to add Hours. In this case the Attendance Code length will default to the length of the shift you are unbooking. ▪Click on the drop-down arrow in the Attendance field for a list of Attendance Codes. Select the desired code. ▪Add a comment (optional). ▪Click Apply.
A confirmation message (warning) will appear similar to the one shown below:
▪Click Book anyway.
Certain Attendance Codes can be set to require a comment before it can be saved/booked. Please inform your SSC representative if you would like to set this up.
The Attendance Code will now be applied to the schedule according to the rules configured for this code. Most codes will unbook the shift, but some may appear without unbooking the shift. In our example the code Jury Duty unbooked the shift which can now be filled by another employee using one of your pre-defined call-in methods.
