The following topics will be covered in this section:
▪Create Time Bank Update Templates
▪Maximum Update Field
▪Update Carry - Allow Hours and/or Dollars
You can create and save Time Bank Update templates. If the manager has multiple groups to do updates for that have different rules and/or banks a Time Bank Update template can be created. By utilizing this feature the update configuration only needs to be done once, saved and used as needed.
•Select the Payroll menu. •Select the Time Bank Update menu.
To create the Update template populate the main screen with your settings. Select the Bank from the Time Bank drop-down list. If you would like to have multiple banks in the setting, click on the Add Additional Bank Update settings icon. To view the Time Bank's configuration, click on the three-dot button beside the bank's name. This will add another blank template to be populated. If you need to delete a bank's setting, click on the red trash can on the far right.
Once the Time Banks required for the Update template have been configured, select the Save disk option on the top tool bar.
In the pop-up window add in the description field the template name. i.e., FLTC and Vact FT update settings. Tick on the appropriate box for when this template should appear. In the example below the template is going to be set as Share. This means this template will be available for others to use.

the Maximum Update is used to validate amount of hours/dollars being earned (added) when using Attendance Codes. It does NOT validate the amount being earned/added during a Time Bank update.
In this example the Maximum Update is set to 20 hours.
The employee has earned 25.00 hours for Attendance Code FLOAT 2.
When this saved a warning message pops up showing the Maximum update has been exceeded.

Time Bank Update - Post Carry Over - Separate Hours and Dollars Setup
This option allows the separation (or ability to separate these) if only dollars are paid out at the end of the year and hours are carried over.
If Allow Carry Over option is on, it must have an Attendance Code assigned when the Post Carry Over option is used. If you only want to post just hours or just dollars, but not both. You will need to disable one of them first and run the process then turn back on.
▪Set the Process Type to Post Carry Over.
