The Seniority option is used to track an employee's current seniority, both in their home class and all worked classes, along with their posted seniority.
There are four types of Seniority maintained on the Personnel screen, all of which are updated automatically when the Seniority Calculation is run. This is normally after each pay cycle via the seniority calculation process, while posted seniority is normally done twice a year.
Posted seniority is what the system uses in the Schedule feature, in accordance with the selected sort option: Custom Years, LTD hours, Worked Hours etc., when sorting employees by priority for calling them in to fill shifts. Schedule reporting will also use Posted Seniority.

Seniority Active & Worked Class Hours
