StaffScheduleCare – SSC Web Version 30.25 Release Notes

We’re excited to share the latest improvements designed to make your experience smoother and more reliable. Here’s what’s new in this update:


New Features & Enhancements

Mass Messaging Dashboard Widget – The Mass Messaging widget on the Welcome Dashboard now links directly to the new Automated Call Out (ACO) screen, pending a license to Communication Hub is activated.

Automated Call Outs – Fixed End by time enhancements – When using “End by Fixed Time,” the system will now automatically extend to the next day if the selected End Time is before the current time.

Automated Call Outs – Push Notification Warnings – History screen now includes employees who have turned off push notifications, displaying a warning so you know communication is disabled for those individuals.

Automated Call Outs – Call Out for Started Shifts – Managers can now send call outs for shifts that have already started (requires setup in the Company Profile).

Block Booking – Enhanced Sorting Level Options – More schedule rule validation available when creating Block Booking sorting levels.

Block Booking – Automated Call Out / Mass Messaging Dispatch – The Block Booking menu now includes an option to launch an Automated Call Out dispatch.

Reports Employee Detail Report – Now includes each employee’s current Push Notification status.

Automated Call Outs - The status color display now updates correctly, making it easier to track call out statuses at a glance.

MM Lite - Sending messages to specific employees is now functioning as expected, helping you communicate more precisely.

Automated Call Outs - Push notifications will now be sent to the Mobile App when employees are booked, keeping everyone informed in real-time.

Ministry Staffing Report correction to issue with totals not matching.

Employee Detail Report correction to issue with Rate column displaying $0.00 for all entries.

Automated Call Outs – Configuration - Responses Seniority by - Allows you to choose which seniority configuration will appear, for visual reference, on the employee responses list under the Seniority column heading when the Order Pooling List By setting is set to Call in List.

Automated Call Outs – Configuration - Dispatch as Block - If enabled in the AppConfig and the ACO config, the system sends a single dispatch for multiple shifts, instead of sending each shift separately.

Automated Call Outs – Custom Templates - Block Dispatch - A new customizable template has been added for use when ACO is configured to dispatch as a block.


Fixes & Improvements

Employee Import on Task Scheduler – Resolved issue preventing proper imports.

Employee Import correction to C record not updating employee profile.

Mass Messaging Schedule Rule Validation – Fixed validation issue for attendance codes contributing to scheduled shifts.

Mobile Manager Self-Service – Mass Messaging – Managers can now edit the end time of a shift call out without errors.

Reports – Time Export to Excel – Corrected issue where negative dollar amounts were not displaying correctly; fixed worked complements display.

Reports - Employee Detail Report -  Correction of internal exception error for Push Notifications.

Time Banks Prerequisites – Resolved validation issue for employees who had completed required probation periods.

Time Banks Rollover - Correction to issues with edits prior to the Rollover Date.

Daily Schedule Sorting Levels – Fixed visibility for sorting level numbers.

Nova Scotia Ministry Staffing Report – Updated calculations to ensure accurate reporting.

Mobile Mass Messaging – Fixed blank shift details appearing on some devices.

Shift Bidding – Resolved timeouts when accessing the Shift Bidding screen.

GL Reporting – Updated to include revised WSIB rates.

Time Export to Excel Report correction to missing hours.

Mass Messaging Template correction to incorrect shift date displaying with previous Day Code.

SSC Web - Automated Call Outs correction to inability to cancel a future queued ACO shift.

SSC Mobile - Notifications correction to reply deadline time zone issue.

Reports - Automated Call Outs corrections to Coverage Failure Notification field format. Messaging After field should have been showing in hours. The format of seniority in the Responses section was incorrectly displayed and has been adjusted to hours. Correction of header when Broadcast and Pool method is used. The header incorrectly displayed Coverage Failure Notification instead of Pooling Notification. Correction to the response A_Machine (answering machine) appearing as just the letter A. Status change from Checked to Booked when successful. Correction to employees appearing with the Status Check even when they have a red cross as their status. Expectation is to see Unsuccessful as the Status setting.

Time Off Request correction to the Unpaid Alternative negative dollar value amounts.

Mass Messaging Lite correction to server error generated with using Google Chrome.

Mass Messaging correction to issue with Dispatch Method, First in First Served (sliding, equal time) not calling employees based on Wizard sorting levels.

Block Booking - The Keep Schedules button issue has been resolved, allowing you to block book with confidence.

Block Booking - Call in List - Custom Sorting Level correction to issue where the custom sorting level ignored the configured rule and displayed all employees.

SSC Mobile - ESS - Shift Exchange correction to Acceptor list left blank when Attendance Code, Show on Schedule is enabled.

Reports - Automated Call Outs now includes missing fields with adjusted formatting. A new field, Created By with Username has been added and placed at the top section above Dispatches. The Dispatch Method has been changed from a short form, to the full description. Shift Reference ID has been added to the report.

New Payroll Integrations

Desjardins – Added new payroll interface integration.

MediSolutions – Added new payroll interface integration.
